Cornerstone Box

This cornerstone box was salvaged from the ruins of the Barracks. In 1858, builders of the M.A.C Barracks placed the box into a stone block in one corner of the structure's foundation. Packed inside the box were two papers naming journeymen responsible for constructing the building and their trades.
