Over the past 50 years, Maryland Public Television has earned hundreds of local, regional, and national awards for its outstanding productions, outreach programs, and fundraising efforts – including four national Emmy® awards, 164 regional Emmy® awards, several James Beard Foundation awards for cooking productions, a Peabody Award earned by ITV, the Alfred I. duPont–Columbia University Award for journalism, and CINE Golden Eagle awards, among many others.
