First Edition. This is another collection of Carroll's verse, including the lighter poems from “Phantasmagoria,” the complete “Hunting of the Snark,” and four previously unpublished poems. This copy is inscribed by Lewis Carroll to Katie Lucy, September 19, 1887. Katie, aged 17, wrote in her diary, "[H]e gave me Rhyme? And Reason? because he said it was ridiculous for me to stay with him and not have a book."
