About

Every year, Special Collections & University Archives staff work together to create relevant and interesting exhibits on topics that are of interest to the University, the community, and to scholars.

This online resource is a product of the Katherine Anne Porter Correspondence Project, which is a collaboration between the University of Maryland Libraries Special Collections and University Archives and Digital Services and Technologies units. It is also supported by a grant from the Katherine Anne Porter Literary Trust.

Materials featured are taken from the Katherine Anne Porter holdings in Special Collections and University Archives at the University of Maryland, which includes the papers of Katherine Anne Porter, Paul Porter, Anne Heintze, Isabel Bayley, Donald Elder, Mary Louis Doherty, Delafield Day Spier, and the Glenway Wescott Collection.

All images are intended for educational and exhibition purposes only. Contact us for inquiries about permission to publish the work of Katherine Anne Porter.
